Consultant Profiles

Peter Edwards - Consultant
“When researching consulting opportunities I was drawn to the IMA message. To me, it conveyed collaboration, inclusiveness, teamwork. Now that I'm a member of the IMA team, I can confirm that IMA means what it says. Its great to be associated with and have access to such a talented, positive, and team-oriented group of people.”
Peter’s vocational journey has given him a width and breadth of experience and skill that allows him to provide clients with maximum value, irrespective of the role he is given. After starting his career as a programmer in the late 80s, he has since performed end-to-end management of multi-million dollar projects for some of Australia’s largest corporations, including managing a $10M program of work for Telstra.
Peter is also a successful entrepreneur, founding a number of start-ups with one having several hundred thousand members and achieving a national profile. He has since decided to wind down his business interests and offer the benefit of his experience in a consulting capacity. Since joining IMA he has implemented a Program Management Office for a leading Geelong organisation and his ‘whole of business’ knowledge and experience has been a major advantage.
Peter enjoys putting words to music, strumming a guitar, hitting the golf course from time to time, and spending time with his children.
